Pham Si Hai, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer

Mr Hai is one of the co-founders, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Vietnam Fortune Capital, who is in-charge of overall operations of the company.

Prior to forming Vietnam Fortune Capital in 2008, Mr Hai was a Head of Investment Banking Department with Mekong Securities in Hanoi. Hai’s career in Financial Services field started in 1997, when he worked for KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers as Auditor and Management Consultant for more than 5 years.

In 2002, Mr Hai joined MPDF, Mekong Private Sector Development Facilities - Hanoi Office, as a Business Development Officer, who is in-charge of providing direct management improvement and fund raising assistance to SMEs.

In 2004, Mr Hai went to the US for a year under the Fulbright Scholarship Program.

Mr Hai holds an MsC in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an MBA degree specialized in finance from Hanoi National Economics University, and a Bachelor degree in Information Technology from Hanoi University of Technology.

Le Thanh Cong, Board member, Chief Operating Officer

Mr Le Thanh Cong is one of the co-founders, Board member, and Chief Operating Officer of Vietnam Fortune Capital. As the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Cong is responsible for the Company’s financial and accounting management, information system, and investment research and analysis.

Prior to joining Vietnam Fortune Capital in January 2008, Mr Cong was a Presales Manager at FPT Information System, whose main duty was to introduce information solutions to the financial services industry in Vietnam. Mr Cong has significant knowledge and experience in business audit, business process reengineering, information system implementation, and training during his employment at Arthur Andersen (then transferred to KPMG) from 1998 to 2003 as a senior consultant.

Mr Cong is one of the co-founders, and the non-executive director, of Vietsourcing Group JSC., which provides professional services and ACCA/CAT training services to local businesses and individuals.

Mr Cong holds a Bachelor degree in banking and financial markets from the Hanoi National Economics University. He is a certified SAP MM solution consultant.

Mr Cong is a Level II Candidate in the CFA Program.

Nguyen Ha Trung, Board member, Investment Officer

Mr Nguyen Ha Trung is the founding shareholder, Board member, and Investment Manager at Vietnam Fortune Capital.

He is responsible for sourcing and appraising potential opportunities, implementing investments and representing as board member at investee companies. His duty also involves portfolio management for principal trading and fund raising.

Prior to joining Vietnam Fortune Capital in January 2008, Mr Trung work for Techcombank as a fixed income dealer and then Head of Product Development Department, where he was in charge of developing new financial products. During his graduate study in France, Mr Trung worked for AXA-Investment, an asset management company, as a Financial Analyst.

Mr Trung holds a Master degree in International Economy and Finance from the Universite de Paris Dauphine. He also holds a Bachelor degree in International Economics from the Foreign Trade University of Vietnam.

Mr Trung is a Level I candidate in the CFA Program.

Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong, Investment Officer

Mr Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong is an investment officer of Vietnam Fortune Capital. His major duty involves in short-term trading, financial market analysis and company research.

Prior to joining Vietnam Fortune Capital in Mars 2008, during his undergraduate study in France, he got a 3-month internship in Socogere, a Consultant company in France as an assistant for Accounting Manager, and 2-month internship at Techcombank in Fixed Income Department.

Mr Cuong holds a Bachelor degree in Management Science at the Université de Paris Dauphine and a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting at the Université de Paris XII where he won the prize “the best student of the class”.
